Norfolk Power staff ask that you....

The provincial Electrical Utility Industry experienced two fatalities in 2011: one employee was struck by a car while setting up warning signs and cones to protect his crew, and another fatality occurred when a transit bus struck a maintenance vehicle killing the employee who was standing on the road beside the service truck.
Drivers are encouraged to approach with caution when entering temporary roadside work zones, by being alert, slowing down, passing only when safe, and leaving enough room for both the employees and oncoming traffic when passing on reduced size lanes.
Norfolk County has an all-new public transportation system serving Simcoe, Port Dover, Waterford, Delhi and Port Rowan. During its initial roll-out, Norfolk Power was included as one of the bus stop locations however in an effort to make the routes more convenient for riders, the closest stop is now located at the Simcoe Seniors Centre.
