Power Outages & Emergencies

If you experience a power outage, in Norfolk County call:
 
    519-426-4440 (option 5) 
 
Give the personnel  your name, address and telephone number. If you cannot get through, please be patient and remember that many other customers may be calling to report the outage.
 
If you witness a power emergency such as downed lines resulting from a vehicle collision, do not hesitate to call 911 to report the emergency.
 
We make every effort to keep affected customers informed about the cause of the disruption and the estimated time until power is restored. If it's a wide-spread outage, many people call our office to alert us to the problem and to get information. We try to answer as many telephone calls as possible. We keep the area media up-to-date on the situation. We contact area radio stations to broadcast information on the outage and to keep customers informed on efforts to repair the problem.
